All the big stars performing at Coachella 2018

Beyoncé is just one of the A-list stars who will be performing at Coachella this weekend. Here's a look at who else will be making an appearance.

Music lovers from around the world will be flocking to Los Angeles on Friday for the first weekend of the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival.

The stage is already set in anticipation of some of the world's biggest music stars.

Beyoncé, The Weeknd, and Eminem are headlining this year's festival. They all have songs on the Coca-Cola Top 40 and will no doubt perform some of their hits.

Queen B was initially scheduled to perform at last year's event but had to pull out due to her pregnancy.

South Africa's very own DJ Black Coffee will be returning to the festival for a second time.

The award-winning DJ has sets on Friday, April 13 and Friday, April 20.

His 2016 set received rave reviews and was voted one of the best of the entire event.

The 2018 lineup includes many more A-list superstars.

Cardi B, 2017's biggest breakout star, will be performing at Coachella for the first time.

She recently revealed that she will be earning $70,000 a day. The 'Bodak Yellow' hitmaker will be entertaining the crowds on two days, which means she will take home $140,000 (roughly R1.7-million).

“I didn’t realise that Coachella was just such a big deal like that. I didn’t know that it was a lot of people," she told SiriusXM’s Hip Hop Nation.

Despite the fat pay cheque she will receive for performing at the popular festival, Cardi says she will actually be losing money playing at the show.

"I have to invest so much money on my stage set, my own money. It's crazy. Almost 300 thou (sic). It's an investment."

Other artists performing at Coachella 2018 include SZA, Kygo, Jamiroquai, and Migos.

Take a closer look at the lineup on the festival's official website.

But good luck getting a ticket. General tickets cost $429 (R5,133), and VIP Access is priced at $999 (R11,954). Add a plane ticket to LA, accommodation, and drinks and you will probably be broke until Christmas - 2019.

The first weekend of Coachella kicks off in Indio, California this weekend, April 13-15.

The second weekend takes place April 20-22.
