Doja Cat has reiterated comments she made about quitting the music business. The 'Say So' hitmaker first revealed her plans during an outburst on Twitter last week.

Doja revealed that she will be retiring after one of her performances in Paraguay did not go on as scheduled.

The 26-year-old was supposed to perform at Asunciónico Festival but her set had to be cancelled due to extreme weather conditions.

The rapper's fans were not impressed that she did meet them outside her hotel. They took to Twitter to slam the star.

Doja Cat hit back in an explicit rant that ended with her announcing her retirement.

"It’s gone and I don’t give a f**k anymore. I f**kin quit. I can’t wait to fucking disappear and I don’t need you to believe in me anymore. Everything is dead to me, music is dead, and I’m a f**king fool forever thinking I was made for this. This is a f**king nightmare," she responded to a fan who asked what happened to her humility.

The star also vowed to stop taking pictures with fans.

Many social media users thought that Doja Cat, whose father is South African actor Dumisani Dlamini, made the comments in the heat of the moment.

But she doubled down on her remarks this week. Doja Cat responded to a tweet questioning if she really is retiring: "Yes the f**k I am."

Doja Cat is currently one of the most in-demand female artists in America. She has collaborated with Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj, The Weekend, and Saweetie.

Her hit singles include 'Best Friend', 'Juicy',  'Get Into It', and 'Freaky Deaky'. Doja Cat currently has two songs on the Billboard Hot 100, including 'Woman' at number nine.
