On TikTok, a wedding ceremony went viral as the groomsman, together with an invited guest, decided to use a shovel and throw rice at the married couple.

The tossing of rice at the newlyweds comes at the conclusion of a wedding ceremony. It's a tradition that has been around for a long time.
According to Minted Weddings, rice symbolises both fertility and prosperity. By tossing it at newlyweds, best wishes and good luck are conveyed to the couple.
