Did Benni have something to do with Ronaldo being on the bench?

The Red Devils are not in a good place at the moment but did Benni make things worse?
The Manchester Derby was a big success for the blue side of Manchester in England.
The Red Devils, better known as Manchester United, suffered a humiliating derby defeat at Etihad Stadium against their rivals and neighbours, Manchester City, last week Sunday.

Man City handed out a 6-3 defeat to Man United but it was our very own Benni McCarthy who was partly blamed for the loss.
Not too long ago, South African social media was abuzz when Manchester United announced that former AmaZulu coach, Benni McCarthy, would be appointed as a member of Erik Ten Hag's coaching staff.
The South African coach has been blamed for Manchester United's decision to bench Cristiano Ronaldo during the match.
CR7, as he is known by many football fans, was not used in the match and that has caused some questions within the Man United camp about who's making the decisions.

McCarthy joined Man United's coaching team in July after manager Erik ten Hag added him to his backroom team as a first-team coach.
The role he was handed was to be in charge of attacking play and coaching the strikers.
After the team's poor performance, many people voiced their frustrations on social media with McCarthy in the firing line.
Fans of the Manchester club have gone as far as blaming the former AmaZulu head coach for the poor start to the season they are having.

Some have speculated that it was Benni's fault that the CR7 was benched.
