Benni McCarthy has been dribbling it up all over our newsfeeds lately and we can't say that we mind... we love him and we haven't made any attempt to deny that.

Recently, Carol Ofori had a personal chat with him and spoke about his AmaZulu successes, celebrating seven years of marriage, moving to Durban, and his view on the new Bafana Bafana coach.

So when we saw Rasta the Artist come up on our newsfeed with a special tribute to Benni McCarthy, we were feeling proud of his humbleness and true kindness when it comes to receiving praise from his fans.

Lebani Sirenje, who goes by the alias 'Rasta the Artist', creates portraits of famous people and lets just say his interpretation is sometimes not exact and creates a conversation amongst the public, where they have been known to criticise his depictions.

The haters be hating, but this has not affected Rasta's will to create. The Zimbabwean-born artist recently paid tribute to Benni McCarthy, and personally handed him two paintings that he did for him.
