FRIDAY 5 SEPTEMBER

Beer and Bike Night @ Duke and Duchess
The lovely folk at Duke and Duchess Motorcycle club present your monthly fix of evening entertainment. Once again there will be beer on tap, bikes on show and the band - No Fly Zone - will be performing. 

JOMBA! Contemporary Dance Experience 
JOMBA! is well underway at the Elizabeth Sneddon Theatre at UKZN. This year is an especially focused Msanzi edition of the festival with attention being given to supporting some of South Africa’s top dance companies and dance makers. Friday night's programme sees three productions by First Physical Theatre Company from Grahamstown, starting at 7.30pm. Tickets are R60 for adults and R45 for scholars, students and pensioners. Get the full weekend programme here

Tshepo Mngoma at KZNSA 
Award winning jazz violinist Tshepo Mngoma will be performing at the KZNSA Gallery in Glenwood on Friday night. Mngoma has toured both internationally and in South Africa with the legendary Hugh Masekela. Mngoma will be joined by his band Sphelelo Mazibuko on drums, Wandile Molefe on keys and Sakhile Nkosi on bass. Doors open at 6pm, R60 will get you in. Bookings via 031 201 9969

SATURDAY 6 SEPTEMBER 

I Heart Market
It’s a very special I Heart Market this month because it’s September Sale madness. Each stall holder will have a rail or box of goods at reduced prices so get your bootie down to the Moses Mabhida Stadium for your fair share of creative goodness. 

Work Hard Play Hard @ Absolute
Your assignment is to party like it’s your job this Saturday night at Absolute in Florida Road. Doors open at 8pm and there’s a cool DJ line up.

Mexican Mayhem @ Jack Rabbits
But if tequila is your thang head to Jack Rabbits for some live music by Fools of Fate and Load Shedder. There are food specials and general Mexican chaos planned. Doors open at 6pm.

SUNDAY 7 SEPTEMBER

Durban Day
