Throwback to the Durban accommodation that left us shocked

This year we found a shocking video on TikTok that didn't just grab our attention but also yours. 

We think that because this was in Durban it attracted much attention from our listeners who didn't want to be roped into the same deal. 

A woman shared a video on her TikTok showing us the place that she and a friend had booked for a weekend away in Durban during the Durban July this year.

This article interested many people because it was alleged that this accommodation was booked through a popula accommodation booking site. 

One that many people use often and what's worse is that it is quite a reputable booking site. 

So, to see such a reputable company associated with shabby accommodation was more than just disappointing. It also made us realise that sometimes we cannot always trust what we see online. 

Booking accommodation for the holidays? Make sure to do your due diligence when researching the place you will be staying. 

Because this was proof that photos don't always do justice to seeing something in real-time.
