Have you resonated with any particular words or sayings this year?
There's rarely a moment where we don't use our experiences as teachable life lessons.
So we decided what better way to end the year off than by asking our beloved Vic Naidoo to share some of his favourite sayings from 2022...
It is certainly that time of year where we look forward to reflecting. A time that allows us to take the good with us and learn from the mistakes.
This is what Vic Naidoo shared with us.
According to his Apple music playlist, he has listened to this song 300 times.
The lyrics to Taylor Swift's 'Anti-Hero' really resonated with him this year.
Being the beacon of honesty and candidness, Vic shared that this song really hit home, because at some point or the other, we are all the problem.
Vic felt like the words here spoke loud and proud about "owning your actions and not being a victim. Taking your power back and taking full responsibility and accountability for your life. Healing and growing and moving forward comes with acknowledging and awareness, and acknowledging your part in things is a step in being aware."
The second one is, "keep my side of the street clean".
Basically, he revealed that this saying helped him learn about taking responsibility for himself, his actions, and his reality.
And isn't that something that we all could learn from?
