Talk about trust...

With the recent abundance in online scamming, we are completely shocked that this is actually real and legit.

A South African recently purchased a historic property located on the upper east side of Manhattan, New York.

But get this - he purchased it without actually physically visiting the property.

"The 2 800m², 8m wide home, which has six bedrooms, staffrooms, a private indoor pool and a sauna, is in East 68th Street – a block-and-a-half from Central Park, is the most expensive property in the upper east side." (IOL)

The sale took a whole year to complete and was originally listed for $50-million, but went up due to the furnishings.

What we found really interesting was that it was reported that the buyer only viewed the property over Facetime.

The property comes with some rich heritage and was built in 1879 and redesigned in 1932.

"Italian artisans were hired by the sellers to work on the apartment’s interior structure, according to Loy Carlos of Serhant." (IOL)

It was also owned by many high-profile personalities.
