WATCH: Ballito woman doesn't believe in 'love thy neighbour', defaces property with paint!
Updated | By East Coast Radio
No love lost between these neighbours...
We grew up in a world where neighbours were like family. Sharing, bonding, and being neighbourly was just part of life.
But it seems those teachings have lost its essence along the way. As people have evolved, so too have their ways of living.
And this story is both short of love and far from painting the town red with thy neighbour, if you know what we mean? No love, nadda, nothing, niks...
A woman who clearly had a bone to pick with her neighbour woke up early on the morning of 15 October 2022 and did something she cannot take back.
In a video that was submitted to the Dala U Crew Facebook page, we see a woman dressed in her night attire (aka nightie) barefoot, holding packets of paint in hand.
As spooky as it looks, she is then seen throwing the packets of paint, targeting her neighbour's home. In case you're wondering, it didn't look like a prank.
"The owner of a Ballito property, which was hit by two packets of paint, has laid a criminal charge against a woman in her neighbourhood. The woman told TimesLIVE on Monday she had laid a charge of malicious damage to property after a woman was caught on CCTV barefoot and in her nightie flinging two packets of paint from the pavement into her yard early on Saturday." (TimesLIVE)
It seems the woman who threw the paint had been harassing her neighbours for more than a year. Due to legal proceedings, the owner of the property did not say much more and chose to remain anonymous.
