Imagine going to the airport and being prepared to get back home and then after barely making it in time to the airport, you get told that the airline has grounded all flights. And the reason - financial issues...

Eek, not cool at all. Well, this is what Vic Naidoo experienced this morning when he arrived at the airport, after being away for a night from Durban and stressfully trying to make his flight, he was stuck at the airport without a flight.

According to Mango Airlines Spokesperson Benediction Zubane, all travelers should've received an email or message to say that their flights would be grounded, but Vic did not receive any form of communication.

He apologised profusely to all the customers for the inconvenience and said that he hoped that they would be able to be back in the air soon.

We keep thinking about all the people who do not have family or friends in JHB or other places in South Africa and got stranded at the airport, without other means or a place to stay.

We hope everyone is safe and has managed to make alternate arrangements.
