We have to admit that horror is by far one of our favourite movie genres. There is the lead up and the sometimes predictable nature of the script that leaves us entertained. It is certainly a nice way to connect with friends or for date night.

Snuggling up close to each other, with a warm blanket and some popcorn and chocolate, ideal date night vibes. In honour of Halloween this weekend, we thought it would be fun to compile a list of horror movies for you, this way you don't have to go searching, just create a playlist and you're set...

First up, we recently announced that the 'Scream' franchise would be welcoming a new movie in the new year. So why not have a 'Scream' marathon this weekend? Add all four segments of the movie and make sure to make it fun with some yummy snacks.

A classic horror movie that you have to watch or re-watch, has got to be the one that painted a whole new image of clowns in our minds. It really pops out that picture you had in your mind of the funny guy who appears at parties...

'IT' is based on the Stephen King novel, that has been terrifying readers for years. "When children begin to disappear in the town of Derry, Maine, a group of young kids are faced with their biggest fears when they square off against an evil clown named Pennywise, whose history of murder and violence dates back for centuries." If you are a fan of M.Night Shyamalan, then this is the perfect opportunity to watch some of his movies. He has an amazing reputation when it comes to cliff hanger moments whilst also tapping into a deep sense of the mind.

Many know him for his popular movie with Bruce Willis, 'The Sixth Sense'. But we enjoyed 'Lady in the Water', which shows characters from a bedtime story trying to make the journey back to home.
