Goodbye, Redro and Pecks Anchovette...

Supply and demand has led the game for the retail market for the longest time. But nowadays, companies take into regard lifestyle changes, popularity, retails trends, and also the ability to be innovative as a brand.
So as we nurse our wounds and recover from the disillusion of some of our favourites like Chocolate Log and Simba All Gold Tomato flavour disappearing from shelves., we have to say that we are on the fence when it comes to these items.
"Pecks Anchovette – and local rival Redro – are disappearing from South African shelves, and won’t be restocked anytime soon. That’s because Pioneer Foods, the local distributor of Pecks and manufacturer of the South African equivalent Redro, has discontinued its lines of fish paste." (Business Insider)
The thing for our very own Vic Naidoo and Rory Petzer is that you have to be in a certain mood to have that slice of anchovy toast. But not having the option to get it when you are in the mood, is unjust, if you ask us...(well, not seriously but you know what we mean).
