We are in month two of the new year and as you might expect, people are sticking to their fitness resolutions.

Well, we hope so at least.

But it’s not easy, changing your lifestyle from eating everything and anything to being more mindful about what you put in your mouth is tough.

More than that though, implementing exercise into your lifestyle can be tricky. 

The pressure of making the change is the biggest challenge. All the experts say that once you start and stick to it, it will get better.

But the mole hill turns into a mountain when you just get started.

This is the very reason that we really enjoyed hearing a fitness coach explain why most diets fail.

In particular, why fat loss can be so difficult for many people who are on their fitness journey. 

Mandy Meyer, a fitness coach, shared an informative TikTok about why most attempts at fat loss fail.

Her very real yet humourous TikTok was extremely helpful.

The thing about dieting is that people assume you have to cut out sweets and junk from your diet completely.

And as per Meyer, that’s where it all goes downhill.
