We've heard of parents going all out when it comes to their children.

Some might say that this is their way of giving their kids the best of everything because they themselves did not have it all.

It can be called a natural progression of parenting, but to what extent is giving them the best overdoing it?

"Barrie Drewitt-Barlow, 52 and his fiancé Scott Hutchinson, 27, welcomed their son Romeo Tarquin on Aug. 12 via surrogate." (NY Post)

In an effort to give their newborn the same start in life as his other children, he has already purchased him a yacht for $2.8-million (R49,170,800).

The couple have shared that they have bought little Romeo every designer item that one can imagine.

Drewitt-Barlow and his ex-husband, Tony Drewitt-Barlow, made history as they were the first gay dads in Britain in 1999. As they became the first "same-sex couple to be listed as 'parent one' and 'parent two' on their twins birth certificate instead of 'mother' and 'father'.”

It seems that the family have a large fortune and don't plan on being shy with opening their wallets any time in the future.

Well, just like how they say if you got it then flaunt it, in this case it can be if your card hasn't been declined, then keep swiping...
