Durban car guards help themselves to motorist's belongings

You really cannot trust anyone...

The question of car guards and whether or not we can trust them has always been a concern for many people.
Some of them work with organisations like shopping centres and malls to legitimise their services, but not everyone wearing a reflector jacket is authorised to be a car guard.
And the harsh reality is that you cannot trust anyone, especially a random stranger who says they are going to look after your vehicle.
As much as we don't want to paint everyone with the same brush, crime is an ever-present factor that you have to always be prepared for.
In this case, it showed 'car guards' engage with a third person to break into a vehicle parked on the side of the road.
It is believed that the incident took place along the roadside outside the Mangrove Beach Centre.

The thing is that there are a range of factors that have to be considered when it comes to criminal minds.
So, as much as we cannot be distrusting of every car guard, we have to be cautious. We have to be proactive.
At the very least, we need to be prepared for the worst. If anything, we must learn from other people's experiences and protect ourselves as much as possible.
