Could it be true that many women have a back-up partner?

Could it be true that many women have a back-up partner?

Eek, that sounds like something your current partner wouldn't want to know...

Relationships have their ups and downs, that's just part of life.

However, what happens when things go south and there's no saving it?

Many have tried and failed in relationships and what's worse is that the time they invested in the relationship sometimes makes them feel deflated when it fails.

We have heard of people having back-up partners, you know, people who have made agreements with the person they will be with if their plan A doesn't work out.

It seems there is more truth to the infamous back-up partner than just what we have witnessed in the world of entertainment.

According to a study published by the Daily Mail, "half of all women have a fall-back partner on call should their current relationship turn sour, it emerged today. A substantial percentage have kept another man in mind in case they end up single."

What we have learnt about the back-up plan is that it doesn't work if you tell everyone, because that will cause mayhem in your current relationship.

"The survey of 1,000 women also found Plan B is also likely to be someone whom she has known for around seven years, who will be 'ready and waiting' because of 'unfinished business'." (Daily Mail)

We're not quite sure what happens if your back-up partner gets involved in a serious relationship that ends up working out well...

That just puts a spanner in the works, but perhaps if you too have a back-up partner, be like Phoebe and have more than one back-up partner in the bag.

Just kidding.
