The end of The Phat GM Rides
Four weeks ago, two men set off on the most ambitious journey of their lives.
On the 30th of August, the two men officially started their lengthy expedition from Lythwood Lodge near Lidgetton, KZN to The Kitchen Windows in Jeffreys Bay, Eastern Cape - with expected arrival on Sunday, 27 September.

Every few days they would send us a voice note with their latest update.
We have been listening along and have been excited to hear about all the things they've been getting up to on the way.
Not only have they been providing us with some great entertainment, but it was also all for a genuinely good cause.

Their goal was to raise some much-needed funds for the struggling employees within the SA Tourism and Hospitality Industry.
Through donations and sponsorships, they also wanted to be able to provide these families with food parcels on the route (a family of 4 would be able to eat for 2 weeks).
For now, we're going to let the men recover, but we will be chatting to them soon to find out if they were able to accomplish their goals.
