It’s not four or five, it’s dozens and dozens, and if that specific garment sits there for weeks or a month, imagine how many people are also trying it on? So do you really want to wear something that’s just come straight off the rack?
After buying a garment, I was the guy who would just take it home and wear it. Then, I happened to be in a store one day trying on a T-shirt and saw a sweaty man trying on a shirt. It was a tad small for him so he wriggled around in it while the sweat made the shirt wet.
When he finally realised it wasn’t going to fit, he put it back on the hanger and back it went onto the rack. Eww! From that minute onwards, I washed my new clothing before I wore it.

According to Forbes, an Immunologist has said that it's necessary to wash before wear due to the chemicals the garments are exposed to in the factories they are manufactured. The more you wash them, the more chances you have of reducing the risk to chemicals. I mean, who wants to wear clothing with resins and chemicals on them, right?
What type of person are you? Do you wash your new clothes before wearing them?
