When 29-year-old Shukrananda Gant sat at a piano and starting playing, she did not expect to become an overnight success. Her mom, Karen Courtney, recorded her daughter’s amazing performance and uploaded it to Facebook. What’s surprising is that she initially asked her mom not to record her, but she did anyway.
Shukrananda was offered a music contract in the past, but she turned it down after she realised that she basically had no rights to her work.
