New horror parody features #SaveWater mascot

Just when you thought the mascot itself wasn't scary enough, wait till you see what it looks like when it's animated. Terrifying!

As you may know by now, Cape Town is in a water crisis and the government is doing everything they can to help residents.
Just a few weeks ago, the Breakfast Team chatted about the new water-saving mascot and how terrifying it looked. I must admit that I was pretty shocked when I saw it and thought that it would give me nightmares after seeing it.

Having seen memes on Twitter and all the posts about people who made fun of how scary the mascot looks, an Animator and special-effects expert, Ryan Jonathan saw the scary side of the character and made a horror movie parody trailer.
Using scenes from the horror movies such as Stephen King's 'IT', he created a trailer called 'Splash (The Last Drop) and South African’s are loving it. His special effects are simply amazing and will blow you away. It took him two days to create the parody.
