Let's get real! Here's what you should have by the age of 35

Growing up and adulting can be tough. There any many things that need to be achieved as you get older. This hilarious list will put things into perspective for you.

In this day and age, most of us will agree that it’s pretty difficult to save. With the VAT increase and the price of fuel going up, many people are just struggling to keep themselves afloat, never mind putting money away as well. So with that in mind, what should your finances look like if you are in your 30s?

According to an article published by Market Watch, by 30 you should have saved a year’s worth of your salary and by 35, at least two year’s worth. Wow, when I was at that age, I was far from that. Yikes!

Business Tech reports that between your 20's and 40's, this should be known as the accumulation phases. Individuals should be using this time to build savings, assets, and be conservative with an investment strategy. 

Okay, so savings are essential, but a new article has been doing the rounds in response to savings. As opposed to putting money away, a few Twitter users shared some hilarious, realistic goals that should be achieved by the age of 35.

Life becomes busier when you grow older, so hanging out with your friends becomes more difficult

We all have that drawer filled with packets and random items

This is me every day trolling for content 

Even though I'm older than 35, I will probably never throw those cables away
