Birds-eye view: See Durban's Golden Mile like you've never seen it before
Updated | By Justin Paul James
If you ever wanted to see what the birds see when they fly over Durban's Golden Mile, this video may put things into perspective for you.

There are many incredible spots in Durban, but one of them has to be the Golden Mile, which is a popular stretch of beachfront which includes the promenade.

Due to the mile stretching across the promenade, it's hard to get a proper view of it all. Luckily for us, Pietermaritzburg resident Rakesh Morar sent his drone up in the skies to capture it, and the footage is nothing short of extraordinary.
"The Golden Mile is something that everyone knows about and sees but is not always fully appreciated. I wanted to give people a different perspective on something that gets taken for granted regularly," said Rakesh when asked why he chose to capture the area.
From the rolling beaches to the pier and the residents of the East Coast, the video showcases Durban in all its glory.
