You're never too old to get a degree or qualification

There has been a recent trend of more experienced people returning to university in order to better themselves.

More and more, I find my Facebook feed full of people having babies, getting married or going through messy divorces, but also recently a few friends of mine, who are the same age as me, have gone back to study and some have even graduated from university! I recently flirted with studying and qualified as a spiritual life coach and so loved the process.

I can understand how in that moment that your high school career is over, the idea of what you want to do for the rest of your life can be daunting. Realistically speaking, at the tender age of 18, can you be 100% sure?! In saying that, some people do have a strong idea and then there are those of us that just cannot seem to settle on a choice.

It's not uncommon to wake up 10 years later and decide that you know what the answer is and older university students have become a fast-growing trend, and I must say I'm proud of these people.

According to BBC News, the face of university students is changing. The most recent figures from the Higher Education Statistics Agency show there were 25 students starting full-time undergraduate degrees who were over the age of 70, out of a cohort of almost half a million. AMAZING!

I was never great at school academics, but in saying that, if I could study fashion, jewelry design, or TV production, maybe it would be something to consider?
