Travelling Instagram couple receives backlash over 'dangerous' infinity pool pic
How far will you go for the 'gram? Well, one influential couple has defied the limits and is facing major heat for it.
Instagram is becoming the most popular social media platform, with The Verge reporting that it reached the one-billion user mark back in 2018, and I'm sure that amount has increased dramatically since.
I cannot live without the 'gram'. It has become my morning and all-day dose of keeping up to date with the latest around the world (and what's in the entertainment world, of course).
What you would notice a lot of on Instagram are influencers of any nature - including travel. They go to these exotic places around the world and make us all jealous by posting incredible hi-res shots with cheesy captions. Jelly!
One particular travelling couple, who goes by the name of Kelly + Kody or @positravelty, travel around the world and post amazing shots of themselves in the most beautiful places. Totes couple goals right there.

Currently, they are facing major backlash from a few of their 59,700 followers after posting a photo with Kelly hanging over an infinity pool in Ubud, Bali. The pool has a major drop with nothing below her. Anything for the 'gram, hey?
"Our greatest strength in life, our most important principle, is discernment. Only you can know your body, feel the space around you and understand your capabilities. We would all do well to remember this, knowing that not every action, style or path we witness through others is or should be, replicated. At the end of the day we are to hold ourselves accountable for the decisions that we make," the post was captioned.
Many followers jumped at the opportunity to drag the couple for attempting something as dangerous as this.
"Why is the woman always the one risking themselves for pictures 😧 never see a guy hanging over a cliff," said Instagram user @isaura_p95.

I'm all for getting the perfect shot, but if it errs on the side of danger, let's just say I'm stepping away from it.
