Yesterday Jane had a local woman in studio chatting about how she managed to survive years of physical, emotional and drug abuse.
She decided to share her story with the public because she wants to urge others who face the same challenges to explore all options to access the help they need.
"I think you sort of get to a point where you are just too tired to carry on and I need women to believe that there is help out there."
"There are places like the Open Door ( Open Door Crisis Centre) who literally saved my life.
They have the knowledge, they have the counsellors. They are just really supportive and are non-judgemental. That's the environment you need. A very [loving] environment."
