Churchgoers protest against pastor amidst sexual misconduct allegations

A group of women have been documented protesting against a church pastor in an effort to say enough is enough.

There is no doubt that we are living in an age where abuse against women and children is on the rise and if we don't create a voice for ourselves and those that have no voice, who will?! Change starts with you, right?

Sexual harassment at work, in the church, in our homes, practically anywhere, is an everyday occurrence. It has almost become normal. But that stops now!

According to IOL, The Pretoria City Mission Methodist Church on Tuesday confirmed it was investigating events relating to a sexual harassment protest held at the church on Monday. 

In a video that has gained the attention of many South Africans, a group of women can be seen disrupting a church service with placards in hand. The church leaders are seen trying to stop them and they are asked to leave.

The protest took place because of allegations of sexual harassment against a church leader.

Look, I understand innocent until proven guilty, but I really would have thought more women in the congregation would have shown support here? Instead, those in attendance were drowned out and then escorted out of the church.

It must have taken a lot of courage to walk into a church with placards and one can only assume they were fueled by rage. I applaud these women!
