Another day, another couple getting hitched at Home Affairs, but this time they were in for the surprise of a lifetime. 

On Monday, two love birds planned to tie the knot, although they were completely unaware of the public servants that were striking.

Without a second of hesitation, the tension in the air was broken by celebration when the Saffas rejoiced in dance to traditional wedding songs.

This incredible moment of unity is a prime example of Ubuntu in Mzansi.

People all over South Africa have re-shared the video. Barry James Mitchell said on Twitter: "This couple arrived at Home Affairs this morning, unaware of our strike - so we decided to give our blessing to this union (excuse the pun)."

This 'Only in South Africa' moment has shed many a tear as we watch this beautiful blessing unfold.

Hopefully this moment can shed some light on the circumstances surrounding the strike.

On the 22nd of June, a couple tied the knot at a Home Affairs in Wynberg, Cape Town.

Nina (Steininger) and Mark Collins celebrated their matrimony with their family and government workers in a joyous celebration.

The couple were blown away by the "gees" and spirit of ubuntu as complete strangers sung wedding songs as they walked down the aisle.

Nina and Mark arrived on their own accord with their wedding party. Once Nina got out the car, onlookers went wild. 

"Along the way people were clapping, cheering, and giving me hugs. It was surreal and so unexpected."

Mark shares that he heard noise "building and building as Nina approached." 

It made it an amazing experience that the couple will never forget. 

Mzansi added the magic and "in any other country, it couldn't have gone down like this," says the couple. 

They also mention how it was a very simple process, there was a small room where they were able to say their nuptials and proceed with legalising the marriage. 

Luckily, the lines wasn't too long for these lovebirds.
