What is something everybody loves, but you don't?

What is something everybody loves, but you don't?

We know many people felt this way about 'F.R.I.E.N.D.S' and 'How I Met Your Mother'...

There is this sub-standard expectation that as a community we are all the same, yet different.

Confusing much? When we are exposed to multimedia, new restaurants, trending recipes or the like, there are those who will religiously try these things.

Sometimes, it's not so much because they enjoy these things, but more about following a trend or feeling like they belong, because when you form part of something, there's a lesser chance of feeling alone.

When the question of TV shows came to light, "What TV show does everyone seem to love, but you just can't get into?" (Quora), people were all too happy to respond with some firm favourites that they did not click with.

Some TV shows that came up in the answers included, 'The Walking Dead', 'F.R.I.E.N.D.S', 'Seinfeld', 'Game of Thrones', 'How I Met Your Mother', and Indian TV serials.

TV shows aren't on their own here.

There is a whole host of things that work for some and not for others:

  • Cleaning products
  • Personal hygiene products
  • Beauty regimens
  • Weightloss trends
  • Social media apps
  • Technology

J Sbu shared some insight into things that he could never get down with but that others absolutely loved.

In terms of fruit, it was the humble watermelon, which he said tastes like water and is apparently quite pricey so no loss there.

In terms of visuals, he apologetically said the Barbie movie, Lord of the Rings. People love swimming, but for him, it was never a thing, he is happy to dip his feet in the water and enjoy a nice cocktail.
