Are cakes becoming the new statues?
Another day, another crazy, almost unbelievable TikTok video that has caught our attention.

And it also stars one of the platform's biggest stars, singer-turned-comedian, Jason Derulo.
Derulo has provided the internet with some real gems since joining the world of TikTok and has become one of the most followed users on the platform for obvious reasons:

From chipping his teeth to making some "extreme" videos, it seems like Derulo has done almost every type of video you could do:

Although he might have outdone himself with one of his most recent uploads. And he had A LOT of help.
Lara Mason, a baking mom-of-two known on the app as @lara_cakeanything, is well-known on the app for her incredible cake creations and her talent for turning anything you can think of into cake.

So, naturally, when Jason came across her page, he did what any self-indulgent star would do and asked her to collab on a video.
Of course, the video needs to include a cake, so he requested a life-size version of himself!

Lara isn't one to back away from a challenge so she put on her apron, readied her baking trays, and set to work on the "statue" that would end up weighing a massive 100kg.
She used squares of plain vanilla sponge, red velvet, and chocolate cake for Jason's body and slathered his body in icing.

In the end, it took her three whole days to complete the creation.

And was Jason impressed with the final product?
He's seen it and loves it!
He's not the only one. Call us impressed!
And while we do think Lara did a great job at creating cake Jason Derulo, we wouldn't think twice about destroying that cake with a bite or five.
Jason Derulo has definitely never looked more delicious.
