'Vaalies' fed up with KZN beaches so they decided to build their own

With the constant rise in fuel prices, it seems like Joburgers are set to have a backup plan during the holiday seasons.

Many holiday goers were quite upset after many of KZN's beaches were closed due to high levels of E.coli in the water during the December 2022 festive season.

But, the beach won't be for everyone, because it's another massive property project, with the beach nestled neatly in an estate in Joburg.

This will be the second man-made beach in Gauteng, with the other "beach" in Pretoria.

In the past, our friends to the northwest of South Africa would make their way to KZN and the famous Valley of the Waves at Sun City.

But, let's be honest here - it's not the same as our golden beaches in KZN, right?

At the end of the day, nothing beats that crisp feeling of the Indian Ocean caressing your skin on a hot day on the East Coast.

We know that this definitely won't deter our 'Vaalie' friends from heading down to KZN; but for those who can't make the way on down here, here's an option.
