#SweetEscape: A day of historical adventure
Updated | By Stacey and JSbu
The third edition of the #SweetEscape brought to you by Tourism KwaZulu-Natal with Stacey and J Sbu was a significant homecoming.
Stacey and J Sbu have had the opportunity to travel and experience the majestic beauty that our beautiful province has to offer for the last three months. This experience was made possible by Tourism KwaZulu-Natal and their campaign: #KZNHasItAll Believe It.
The duo has previously travelled to St. Lucia and the Drakensberg, this time around they are in the hometown of J Sbu.
J Sbu, whose birth name is Sibusiso Nxumalo, grew up in eShowe and has very fond memories of home, his great, great aunt still stays in the area and because of work responsibilities he is not able to go and visit her as often as he would like. When he received the itinerary and the news that the team would be travelling to eShowe, no one was happier then him!
Like any road trip with the duo, it began with a bit of karaoke courtesy of not Beyonce, but J Sbu!
Watch below as the duo jam to the single of the summer 'Abazali':
Saturday's activities began with an aerial boardwalk at Dlinza Forest and the views were incredible!
Another highlight of the day was the Butterfly Dome, Stacey Norman felt right at home, unfortunately there were not many butterflies to see because of the time of the season.
Watch her exploring below:
Things then took a scary turn straight after, as the team were led an underground into the 'Witch's Cave'.
Disclaimer: there are no witches in this cave, and it’s actually really cosy, watch the team take on the daunting task below:
The day was wrapped with some serious 'Fear Factor' adventure, when the team went on a 4 X 4 ride adventure at Ngodini Bunduz.

Thank you so much to Tourism KZN for the wonderful campaign #KZNHasItAll that has let us celebrate and explore our beautiful province KZN!
