To be fair, we've all lost something when operating the streets of Mzansi. Whether it be a jacket, a phone or even an ID - we've been there.

Earlier this month, Rocking the Daisies, the music and lifestyle festival that happens in Johannesburg and Cape Town, reported a shocking amount of lost items.

Their team decided to poke fun at this situation with a hilarious TikTok video:

Furthermore, they took to Instagram to share more lost items.

The comments were unhinged. People came at each other for the items that were lost.

Here's a taste of what went down:

  • "Haibo! Why did you guys only lose Standard Bank cards?"
  • “My bank card is there but the phone that it was at the back of isn't – lol what considerate thieves"
  • "So how did everyone drive home"
  • "Did anyone find my soul?? Suspect it's still at the Savannah beach house."
  • "Besties I STILL don’t have my voice back "
  • "I need to know how people lost their shoes"
  • "Lost all my money tipping the bar staff"

Among the lost items were glasses, shoes, bags, IDs, a ton of Standard Bank cards, clothes, jewellery, a charger, wifi router, and car keys.

Let's hope that if we ever lose anything, it gets tons of banter like these items did.
