We have seen some wild concoctions when it comes to making food on the internet, but nothing we have come across recently compares to this...

A man on the internet attempts to make biltong, but every step of the way he does something to anger die-hard biltong lovers.

@josh.rhoton Replying to @macayla.mack I am FINALLY getting around to biltong!!! #biltong #jerky #snack #oddlysatisfying #southafrica #experiment #beef #sirloin #yum ♬ Creepy and simple horror background music(1070744) - howlingindicator

As seen in the video above, this food connoisseur uses certain methods that are a big no-no in the biltong world.

One unconventional method being using a Woolies mixed spice as the seasoning. Another being using heat to cook the biltong as opposed to drying it. The other method was using balsamic vinegar... sies, man.

South Africans pride themselves on making the most incredible biltong and this newbie simply sparked outrage.

  • "Biltong is only wind dried not with heat."
  • "THIS IS NOT BILTONG"
  • "Nooooo as a South African born biltong maker, there is very little here that resembles the real thing."
  • "South Africa was too stunned to speak"

Clearly this TikToker has disappointed the biltong gods. We hope that he has learnt from his mistake and will learn the right way.
