Replacing antibiotics with cannabis, this farm is taking over chicken consumption.
A farm in Thailand has started this experiment and researchers at Chiang Mai University say the experiment is showing positive signs.

The introduction of pot to the chickens' diet began in January 2021.
It appears to be working and the mortality rate for the chickens at the farm has been exactly the same as in regular seasons, but many are saying that the chickens will have a higher immunity during "sick seasons".
This unconventional method occurs when crushed cannabis is added to the chicken feed and water.

"Consumers in Thailand have been paying attention to this because demand is increasing for chickens and many farmers have to use antibiotics. So some customers want to find a safer product,"- Assistant Professor
The question on all our minds is, how do these birds feel and act?
"I can't say the cannabis doesn't let the chickens get high, but they exhibit normal behaviour," the university said.
Stay tuned for more on this developing story, who knows... maybe we will be doing a taste test in the near future?
