Terrifying moment man takes shortcut and barely escapes with his life!

It is often said that taking shortcuts make for long delays. The footage below shows a man who learned that the hard way. 

According to the Daily Mail, a jeep driver identified as Ildar from Russia thought it would be quicker to go over the railway line to his destination.

However, this shortcut almost cost Ildar his life, as his car got stuck on the tracks. Things quickly went from bad to worse as a train approached the car at full speed. Yikes!
