Cellphone theft caught on video turns into fist fight
This unsuspecting victim was not prepared to give her cellphone up without a fight.
According to News24, a cellphone thief got more than she bargained for when what she thought would be an easy snatch turned into a ‘cat fight’.
News24 reports that the incident took place in Ruyterwacht, Cape Town and was captured on CCTV footage. It was later shared on a local community Facebook page.
We are constantly on our phones, whether it is checking our mail or just simply occupying ourselves while we wait. The victim is seen in the video sitting outside a gate and is busy on her phone.

A second woman is seen walking towards the victim who is sitting on the ground, grabs the victim's phone, and tries to make a quick escape. However, the victim was not prepared to let go without throwing a few punches at the perpetrator.

Unfortunately for the victim, the perpetrator made off with the phone. However, it's the victim's willpower that everyone on social media is looking at.
