Jacob’s Well Natural Area in Texas is a gorgeous place, but the most interesting part is surely the well itself. Here's why.
Jacob’s Well is one of the longest underwater caves in Texas and an artesian spring, with a diameter of 4 meters and total depth of 40 meters.
Jacob’s Well is formed of several chambers, which many divers have tried
to explore through the years – although at least 10 inexperienced
divers also discovered that answering the siren call of the cave was not
such a good idea after all.
It is a very mysterious place – some are frightened by that, and some are drawn to it.
