Since 1993, American actors Will Smith and the original 'aunt Viv', Janet Hurbet, have not got along, and thanks to the recent Fresh Prince of Bel-air Reunion, they have buried the hatchet.

Smith reunited with the stars of the 90s comedy series and much to their surprise, Hurbet arrived too.

"It felt like I couldn’t celebrate 30 years of Fresh Prince without finding a way to celebrate Janet," Smith told the Banks family actors.

During her interviews after she had left the show in season three, Hurbet had blamed Smith for being fired.

When the two actors finally got to pour their hearts out to each other, Hurbet revealed that when she got fired she was in an abusive marriage that the cast didn't know about - she was also expecting a baby.

"I was hurt deeply. When I left the show, I had this new baby and no one. Family disowned me. Hollywood disowned me.

"My family said, 'You’ve ruined our name.' And I wasn’t unprofessional on the set. I just stopped talking to everybody because I didn’t know who to trust because I had been banished. And they said it was you who banished me. Because you were Will. It was hard," she told Smith.
