The past year has been incredibly difficult for so many people. The COVID-19 pandemic has wreaked havoc on the lives of billions around the world so, in the midst of all the chaos, people have started discovering the importance of treating themselves. When Brittany Shackleton did exactly that at her local salon, she didn’t think her treatment would go so wrong so fast – and shared the hilarious moment on social media. 

When Brittany booked an appointment with her beautician recently, she decided to share her experience on social media. So, as her beautician prepared to remove her nostril hair, the stick used to remove the wax detached itself, leaving her nostril full of wax and all the hair still remaining.

However, while capturing the entire moment on video, Brittany’s experience went from bad to worse when, while laughing, her beautician tried to remove the wax by hand – only for her false nail to get stuck to the wax and pop off.

Luckily, Brittany found the entire experience hilarious as she is seen laughing while the everything is going on.

Brittany shared the hilarious moment on her TikTok page, saying: "Surely this is the funniest thing you've seen all day."

The video quickly went viral on the app with one user saying, “She nailed it," while another added: "It just keeps getting worse..."

In a follow-up video, Brittany explained that the beautician was a really good friend of hers and that she got the wax out of her nose shortly after she stopped filming.

"I just want to say that the wax easily came out my nose, it did not hurt at all and her nail came off easy because it was just a stick on," she explained. "She is one of my very good friends, she's a beautician and she's very professional."
