Watch: Majestic drone footage of snow in Matroosberg
Updated | By Justin Paul James
Parts of South Africa were covered in a white blanket of snow on Tuesday. This drone footage will leave you having serious FOMO.
East Coasters and South Africans in general love anything to do with the weather - especially when it comes to snow. Citizens are always divided when a cold front hits our country. On the one hand, we despise the snow because it means cold weather, but on the other, most of us love playing and seeing snow.
On Monday, our Newswatch team reported that East Coasters should brace for a chilly week ahead. On Tuesday, temperatures dropped across the country, with many taking to social media to share pictures and videos of the blankets of snowfall.

Snow Report SA took to their Facebook page to post some incredible footage shot by Pieter Seyffert, who sent his drone out in Matroosberg amidst the cold snap. To be honest, we're surprised his drone made it out without freezing.
Good thing it didn't because this video he captured is nothing short of extraordinary and majestic.
