PHOTOS: Parts of South Africa blanketed in snow

The cold front that has been sweeping across the country has seen temperatures drop, rain fall and some areas transformed into a picturesque winter wonderland.

The weather system has also seen sea swells along the KwaZulu-Natal coast peak at around 5.5m in Durban.

In Durban, the mercury is only expected to reach around 21 degrees today.
