The story of Chelsea Williams who was stuck at an airport during lockdown

Darren, Keri and Sky made it their priority to check up on fellow Durbanite whose only desire was to get repatriated during hard lockdown.

Darren, Keri and Sky were inundated with emails, phone calls, Whatsapps and DM's with South Africans trying to get repatriated from various corners of the world during hard lockdown this year.

One that stood out is a superyacht stewardess who was forced to live in DOHA airport for an extended period of time.

Williams told the team about her horrific ordeal to get back home. The 27-year-old from Durban North was left without much after being informed that she had to come back home before the South African lockdown.

The Breakfast team spoke to her almost daily and after many weeks of travelling and being away from home, they finally welcomed her back to Durban!

Listen to the podcast as Williams talked about her journey and the amazing feeling of finally being free.

However, as soon as Chelsea got back to Durban she was offered a job in the USA and subsequently left again.
