With loadshedding continuing to be a real problem for South African citizens, more and more companies and entrepreneurs are offering alternative or renewable energy options.

When it comes to South Africa's energy woes, one solar energy company has had enough.

In a daring and ingenious campaign, a particular company is taking a stand against Eskom's frequent loadshedding by launching an irreverent campaign.

According to MSN, the company in question is Hohm Energy, which is the country's first fintech and solar marketplace.

They produced a video that has been doing the rounds on social media. Have a look and see for yourself:

The campaign features a series of humorous videos and billboards, which mock the power outages caused by Eskom. 

The company's message is very much clear: if you're sick of loadshedding, switch to solar energy.
