Case in point - a video recently made waves on social media, capturing a high-speed police chase and dramatic shootout in Muizenberg, Cape Town.
It was the kind of action scene you’d expect in a Fast & Furious: Cape Town Drift reboot.
Amid the chaos though, one man stole the show, and no, it wasn’t a cop or a criminal.
It was a Checkers Sixty60 driver, calmly minding his own business, zipping past the bullets like it was just another Monday.
No flinching, no drama, no detours. The man was on a mission.
That customer’s toothpaste, cereal, and instant coffee sachets were getting delivered in under 60 minutes, come hell or high gunfire.
Now that’s a hero.
Blink and you’ll miss it, but it’s a moment that could only happen in South Africa.
