'Princess Diana would have approved of Prince Harry leaving senior royal position'

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down as senior royals in early 2020.

Sarah Ferguson and Princess Diana had known each other for a while as they were actually fourth cousins. The sisters-in-law then became close after they reconnected in 1980, when Diana was 19 and Sarah was 21.

Ferguson was on Australia's 'Kyle and Jackie O Show' recently sharing how Princess Diana would have been proud of Prince Harry for quitting as a senior royal.

You'll remember that Prince Harry and his wife, Duchess Meghan, stepped down as senior members of the Royal Family in 2020. 

"What I think is that she would have been very proud of her boys standing firm and tall, and they're very like her, and she would have been very proud," she shared.

She also adds that she would be exceptionally proud and in support of the memoir, Harry: Conversations with the Prince. 

Unfortunately, her five grandchildren arrived in the world way after she passed. Ferguson is certain that she would enjoy granny duties for Lillibet, Princess Charlotte, Archie, Prince George, and Prince Louis.

Well, that is exactly what any son or daughter would love to hear. Having someone close to your mom affirm that she would approve of the life you are leading should bring some sort of peace.
