Natarah: This disgusting behaviour is unacceptable!
Everyone needs to play his or her part in moving this country forward and if we can’t start with ourselves, what hope does the next generation have?
It’s true, we don’t know the circumstances surrounding the video, there are a few unanswered questions like, “What happened before the video was shot?” or, “Was the cameraman provoked?” In fact, I doubt the driver knows that aside from taking out the biker, he just committed another offence: it’s illegal to use your cell phone behind the wheel!
The sad reality is that hateful behaviour or videos like this result in a spin-off online. There are some social media users who feed off vile content like this and many of the comments are made irresponsibly or incite further racism and hate. The bottom line: there is no place for racism in our country.
