Nedbank has pledged its support towards the recent KZN flood victims and has asked KZN to jump on board with their recent initiative.

The bank is challenging football supporters to #TeamUp4KZN ahead of the Nedbank Cup’s 18 May showpiece in a variety of initiatives designed to raise money for those in need and rally football fans around their city. Supporters can pledge their support by retweeting Nedbank’s #TeamUp4KZN post on Twitter, with Nedbank pledging to contribute R5 towards relief efforts for every retweet of the post.

Fans who show their support via a retweet also have the added incentive of being entered into a draw for a chance to win tickets and VIP experiences to the Nedbank Cup final.

Supporters are encouraged to also join the clean-ups to lend a hand, with the first 400 volunteers at each event receiving complimentary tickets to the final, a Nedbank T-shirt, and a goodie bag, as a token of appreciation for their participation.

Details of the clean-up are as follows:

  • Friday, 17 May 2019 (15:00 - 18:00) at Durban Main Beachfront (Meet at Marine Lifesaving Club, Addington Beach)
  • Saturday, 18 May 2019 (08:00 - 12:00) at Blue Lagoon (Meet at south side of the pier)
