LISTEN: DKS talk to Head of Communications at Solidarity

Solidarity seeks to provide a list of people with the necessary technical skills amid the crisis at Eskom.
Something needs to be done quickly to sort out the issues at Eskom.
Thankfully, according to IOL, a bid to fix the mess at Eskom is underway.

Public Enterprises Minister Pravin Gordhan wrote to the Solidarity union for help in rectifying the skills crisis at the power utility.
DKS had to investigate this matter further and decided that an expert was needed.
In came the Head of Communications at Solidarity, Morné Malan, to answer their questions. Listen below.
Solidarity chief executive Dr Dirk Hermann shared on his Facebook page the letter that was sent to him from the minister.
It was requesting a list of people with the necessary technical skills that could help end some of the woes that Eskom faces.

The minster has taken time to thank Solidarity for the swift response.
"Thank you Solidarity for coming forward to offer assistance in mobilising the critical skills needed to assist Eskom with generation performance challenges," said Gordhan
