Sometimes in life things go missing and or accidentally get thrown away. The worst part is when the person you love the most is the one who commits this heinous crime.
All jokes aside, it can be quite distressing when something you find valuable is gone by the time you get home. Especially because the person you live with did not know the value of it.

I was cleaning and accidentally threw my husband's ID without checking the envelope properly. I assumed there was just unnecessary papers in there.
My emerald engagement ring. Thrown somewhere in my garden in Hurlingham Jhb!
I could write a book, but she'd probably throw that away too.
My ex wiped my hdd with all my photos and music. I had digitalized all my photos (we talking 30 years of memories all my childhood photos right up to the recent ones before we met) and didn't have originals any more, he then removed the hdd from my perfectly working laptop because he needed it to fix his laptop.
